Heavenly Father, Bless this day:
—to those who are hurting: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted”
—to those who are gentle and kind: “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”
—to those who care for others: “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall be shown mercy.”
—to those who have a sincere heart: “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”
—to those who bring peace to those around them: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God.”
—to those who strive to do what God wants, even when others treat them wrong: “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
In Matthew 5:3-11 Jesus brings you the promises of life. Jesus knows your heart and seeks to bless your day.
Blessed does not always mean happiness and prosperity as the world defines “happy.” Blessed means putting Christ first and not being dependent on the outward circumstances. He loves you and seeks always to comfort, support, and bless you. Allow HIM to do His job.
Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
