Good morning from The Garden!

When I make the dressing for my family and put it in the freezer, I’m always glad that task is done.  But that is not all that I intend will make that adds to my family meal for Easter. I know there is more to come.

When Jesus said “It is finished,” (John 19:30), He knew He had successfully completed the task for which He had come. He had paid in full the debt for our sins and paved the way for our forgiveness of sin. God’s redemptive plan was made complete. The grace of God was complete. “It is finished.”

Jesus did not say, “I am finished.” He  knew that there was more to come in God’s plan. He died once and for all, yet His love continues through generations offering grace to any one who will receive Him.  Jesus is always waiting for someone to cling to Him, follow Him, and share Him with others.  Yes, when He said the words from the cross,  “It is finished,”  He knew it was only the beginning.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
