Have you ever watched a chameleon change colors? As it sits in the grass, it is a brilliant green; as it crawls over the area of dirt, it changes to a dingy brown. In other words, it blends in with its environment.
In Christ, we are always the same:
“Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way; in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses….known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.”
2 Corinthians 6:4, 9,10.
The Apostle Paul had pressure from every angle to change his message. He stood firm and did not give in to the praise or to the condemnation. After he knew Christ, he never changed his colors.
Don’t let others control who your are. Stand firm in your faith and be the person God wants you to be.
When you stay true to Christ, you will not always blend in with your surroundings. You will stand out shining bright with His true colors.
Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
