Each day is a gift to treasure, to embrace, and to enjoy. A day to make new memories, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem to be at the time.
No one person’s day is the same as another’s. Sometimes it is spent at work or at play. Sometimes it is spent with loved ones. Sometimes it is spent with friends. Sometimes it is spent alone, reflecting on God’s goodness and on His beauty all around us—moments to treasure. Moments of making memories.
The words to an old treasured hymn come to my mind:
“Precious Memories….how they linger…
As I travel on life’s pathway,
Know not what the years may hold;
As I ponder, hope grows fonder,
Precious memories flood my soul.”
