There is a reason that God’s Word urges you to “lean not on your own understanding.”
Human understanding is limited. It is incomplete. Therefore it is frustrating.
God wants you to seek HIS understanding as if it were a hidden treasure.
“If you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver, and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom, and from HIS mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Proverbs 2:4-6.
God offers HIS understanding as a valuable gift, but you have to seek it with all your heart and lean on it in HIS timing.
