The apostle John presents a clear message to fellow believers in 1,2,3 John. He presents God as “light” “love” and “life.”
He ends with a simple command to us all.
“Dear Children, keep yourselves from idols.” 1 John 5:21.NIV
An idol is any loyalty that replaces God at the center of your life—anything—time, money, job, family, another philosophy that takes away God’s Deity, recreation,—–
What is your idol? Be aware, be strong, be sensitive, be confident, and be sure.
Know that the decisions you make in your everyday life can point others to the God of light, love, and life.
