“The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; your love, Lord, endures forever—Psalm 138:8a.
We all make plans. Then we work hard to see these plans come true.
But to get the most joy out of life, we must make sure that God’s plan is part of our plans. He alone knows what is best for us. He alone can complete His purpose in us. He alone knows our future.
Jesus said, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33.
Jesus did not say that He will overcome; He said that he HAS OVERCOME. We are never alone. If we remember that the ultimate victory has already been won, we can claim the peace of Christ in the most troublesome times.
