Good morning from The Garden!

I was driving along the service road in my home town the other day and as I passed near McDonald’s, I noticed a large pickup pulling out.  Now this pickup was towing a long black utility trailer.  He stopped and I thought, “Surely, he sees me?”  But I slowed some more. The suddenly he pulled out and just continued to cross into the road and I realized that he did not notice my car.  I put on the brakes and veered off the road.  Luckily, I had room enough before the ditch to be safe.  The driver just continued on his merry way, not noticing the danger he had put me in.

Think about this incident and consider this scripture: “Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.”

How many times do we do something that causes spiritual danger to another?

Be careful that your freedom does not become a stumbling block to to the weak.”

We have a responsibility to others.  We should always stop and consider our actions before continuing on our way. We never know who is right behind us waiting on our next move.  Let’s make sure it is the right one.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
