I thank God for the sunshine. I thank God for the forecast of a week of sunshine. I thank God for the chance to plant crops, mow yards, clean-up houses, and just to take in the warmth of the sun.
“To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven:…..
……..a time to plant and a time to harvest…….” Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
Sometimes it is so hard to see the big picture. The whole plan sometimes confuses us.
The scriptures present to us the only thing that really matters. .
“One shall come who rules righteously, Who rules in the fear of God.
He shall be as the light of the morning; A cloudless sunrise when the tender grass springs forth upon the earth; as sunshine after rain…..” 2 Samuel 23:3-4. LB
The sunrise brings joy to my heart, but the pure joy that lasts even on the darkest days is the light that only God can give.
“He makes everything beautiful in His time…..” Ecclesiastes 3:11
We cannot see into the future or comprehend everything that happens to us along the way. We must trust Him now to do His work on earth and look toward the time–His time–when all things are made beautiful.
We just have to remember that the SON is always shining
