Perspective! That is what we all deal with on a daily basis. My cousin and his wife live in Maryland and 33 degrees is nice and brisk. (His words) I live in Louisiana; it is 44 degrees and I am freezing. It’s just a matter of the way we see things. Right??
“Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted forgiving on another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:32.
You need to think of this verse when things seem to present to you a challenge.
You may hear about road rage, temper tantrums, outbursts lashed against one another; anger, impatience, self-indulgence—can you find yourself anywhere in this list?
Maybe you just need a new perspective—-Be kind.
Sometimes we just need to take a deep breath and remember in our hearts the love Christ has for us and the forgiveness he offers, and the patience He shows us everyday. When we remember Him, we might find it easier just to be kind.
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so IS he.” Proverbs 23:7.
In your heart is the temperature “nice and brisk” or just plain “freezing”?
Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
