Good morning from The Garden!

“When the woman saw the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it…….” Genesis 3:6a.

God had provided all that Eve needed for health, wealth, and happiness. God had also set limits that He knew were necessary to protect her and Adam.

If this fruit had been rotten and unappealing, Eve would not have been so tempted.

It’s the same today. If Satan were really the scary figure with forked tail and flashing red eyes, you would never be tempted by anything that would place you on his side.

If you could always see the consequences first before the sin, you would more than likely pass it by. Our world glamorizes sin and tempts you to follow a path (the forbidden fruit) that takes you away from a loving God.  God sets limits.—-

But God, in His loving grace, provides a way for you to be forgiven. He continues to love you and always lights the path for you to find your way back home.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
