Good morning from The Garden!

Worry is like rehearsing for a play. You experience it over and over. Then you wait for the performance to actually take place.
Jesus understood that worry was a problem for Christians in the early church and He understands the role worry can play in our lives today. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus had something to say about worry:

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34.

In His kind and gentle way, He addressed the problem and simply told us “Do not worry!”

I like the statement from my Study Bible: “Planning for tomorrow is time well spent; worrying about tomorrow is time well-wasted!”

My prayer:  Heavenly Father, Grant us all the strength to plan for each day without worrying about things that are beyond our control. Help us to place our worries in Your Hands and turn them into lasting peace. Amen

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
