Good morning from The Garden!

I bought a Roomba Vacuum several years ago and for some reason I put it away and forgot about it.  Well, I charged it up and set it to work throughout my house.  (Side note–I could have vacuumed the old way faster than trying to set this up-but I digress!)

The Roomba worked great in some areas.  It went back and forth many times along the same path.  I watched and wondered if it would ever leave the spot it was in.  It traveled the same rut over and over.

Sometimes we stay in the same rut.  We see just what we want to see–our problem, our job, our anxieties, our fears, our blessings.——The problem with the rut is that we don’t always get done what the Lord has for us to do.  We also become so comfortable with this same routine, that we don’t think we need to depend upon God for our daily life.

____But back to my Roomba vacuum.—-Just a few minutes ago it stopped and told me that it needed to be moved.  It was stuck and needed help.  Although it was doing an excellent job on its normal path, as soon as something got in its way it froze and quit working.

I pray we will always seek God’s help first in our normal routine and then when obstacles come our way, we can call on HIm, hear His voice, and follow HIs path.

‘Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord.….”  Jeremiah 29:12-13.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
