Good morning from The Garden!

My children have often played the game Jenga. The game begins with a tall tower of blocks stacked carefully in a unique pattern.

The object of the game is to remove a block carefully from somewhere in the stack and then place it on the top of the stack continuing to build the tower.

The removal of one block in the wrong way affects the whole tower and all the blocks come crashing down. The players all groan, see the blocks scattered everywhere and then slowly build the tower back to begin again.

A good name is much like this tower of blocks. It takes a whole family to build that good name. Each member of the family is necessary and valued to make the tower (name) strong and to keep the family name respected through generations

The Bible teaches that a good name is your most treasured possession.

A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.” Proverbs 22:1.

—–Just like in the game Jenga! What affects one affects all.  So guard the name always and move carefully in life to keep the family standing strong.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
