Good morning from The Garden!

When we had land in Oklahoma, my husband and I loved to spend time there.  He worked the test plots for the deer and I relaxed–and cooked.  We always had a good time.

But after two weeks in Oklahoma, we were ready to start the trip home.

Check list began: camp clean— check;  garage, cleaned and organized—check; all clothes packed and car loaded—-check; water turned off—check; a/c adjusted—check.

One last look and we would be on our way! We get in the car, fasten the seat belt (well, maybe not, yet), and start the car—– NOT!!!!!   Not a sound, not a click, nothing! The battery was as dead as it could possibly be.

No matter what preparation we had made, we would not be able to make the trip home until our power source was recharged. The battery had failed to do its job.

God’s power never fails.

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning.” Lamentations 3:22-23.

When we plug in to God’s Power every day, “we are not consumed“—think about this.  It means that no matter what comes our way, with God’s help we can manage–we can make the trip home.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
