Good morning from The Garden!

There are many that I know who are reading the Bible through this year.  This sounds like a pastime that others have tried many times.  But it’s different this year because friends are teaming up with others to challenge themselves to keep up the reading throughout the year. Our church has a group that meets together to read the Bible. There are podcasts and You Tube apps; and videos that help discus the scriptures.  In other words, groups working together keep one another accountable. Then it becomes a priority instead of a hit and miss reading.

Blessed is the one who READS the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who HEAR it and TAKE to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.”
Revelation 1:3.

When John writes in the prophecy of Revelation “the time is near,” he is urging readers to read The Word and be ready for the Kingdom of God.  This passage reveals to all that the time will come when Jesus will come again to claim His kingdom, and all the church will be taken to be with Him!

The events will come quickly and there will be no second chance to change sides.

The drama of all future events predicted in Revelation is spectacular, but there is nothing to fear when you are on the winning side.

John encourages you to read this book, apply it to your lives(take to heart), and be assured that God will triumph.

As you read the Bible through, you will get to know God better so that you can trust Him completely.

His Word will help you forget the past and live in peace in the present,  When you think of future events, you will walk with confidence because Christ, the victor, walks with you.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
