Good morning from The Garden!

It is track season.  Many young people compete on the track testing their endurance, speed, and strength against other opponents.  One rule that is understood by all contenders is “never cut in front of another competitor and cause him to stumble or fall.” This action will cause two consequences:  the one who cuts in will be disqualified, but the one who is cut out, will still lose the race.

You run a race everyday in Christian life.  You know to look straight ahead; you know not to look to your left or your right; you know to keep your eyes on the finish line.  These truths are daily reminders from God’s Word.  But you also need to be aware of the ones who cut in on you and cause you to stumble.

You are running a good race.  Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth?  That kind of persuasion does not come from the One who calls you” Galatians 5:7,8.

Influences matter in your life…..  “A little yeast works through a whole batch of dough.”  v 9.

Be sure that those around you do not cut in on you and separate you from the Loving God who wants only the best for you and wants you to finish strong.

Have a blessed day! In Christian love, Diane
