Good morning from The Garden!

When you want to get to a definite destination, you get directions. Today, you might put the address in your phone or navigation system and then follow these commands to the “end of the earth” well, almost. You trust these directions to get you from where you are to where you want to be.

The Holy Scriptures may not be google earth, but they do show you the road
to salvation that leads you to peace on earth, and to Eternal Life. This road is trustworthy, and It never changes.   Just as every road has a beginning, so does the road to salvation.  In Romans we find the first stop to becoming a Christian:

There is no one righteous, no not even one.:”  Romans 3:10.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23.

No one is perfect. There is no such thing as big sins or little sins. Sin is sin, and we all fall short of God’s glory.

All sin separates us from God, but all sin can be forgiven.

We don’t have to be good to be loved by God. We don’t have to have our lives in order to accept God’s grace.

When we come to Him just as we are, he welcomes us and changes us on the inside.

The first pinpoint on your journey is a stop sign—Stop and look both ways and choose the right way. Trust the directions God provides for you and follow them to Eternity.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
