In Job 37 we find a beautiful passage reminding us that God is in control. So often we speak for God (as Job’s friends did) or we take Him for granted, or we interpret His silence to mean that He is unconcerned or indifferent.
But God cares and He speaks to us, but we must be ready to hear His message through the Bible, through life experiences, or through relationships or circumstances.
You have often heard the expression, “Take time to smell the roses.” This is merely a paraphrase of Job 37:14, “Stop and consider God’s wonders.” God’s power and presence are awesome; we must pause and give Him time so that when He speaks, we listen
