With love in my heart, I would like to share this with all of you———–
WHAT DOES CHRISTMAS MEAN TO ME?
What does Christmas mean to me?
I love the lights on the Christmas tree.
I love the presents we all share,
And I love the carols ringing in the air.
I love the special glow I see
From candlelight twinkling soft and free.
I love the smell of cookies and other sweets
And the laughter of my children as they reach for a treat.
These special moments are just the start
Of this special season that warms my heart.
They are beautiful reminders of this Holy time
When I remember God’s plan for all mankind.
The manger scene shows a baby so small,
With Mary, His mother, and Joseph so tall.
With love that transcends what we can understand,
They each played a part in God’s greater plan.
Christ came down from heaven above
And was wrapped in swaddling clothes and love.
The Christ child whose first home was a cattle stall
Was born to be Savior to us all.
Christ did not stay a small baby, you see.
He grew and became an example for you and me.
He lived a perfect life, loving and healing those in need.
Then He gave His life, a loving sacrifice for you and me.
Christmas time comes only once a year,
As we celebrate His birth with love and cheer.
But CHRIST time is celebrated each day of the week
In the things that we do and the words that we speak.
What does Christmas mean to me?
It’s salvation through grace and victory,
A time to remember that God has a plan
To hold my life and yours in His loving hands.
So I’ll wrap up the presents and tie them with a bow.
I’ll hang the lights high and low.
I’ll laugh with my family and love all I hold dear,
And keep Christ at the center each day of the year.
