Good morning from The Garden!

What makes a choir a good choir? It’s not how many soloists you can hear. It’s not who sings the loudest. It’s not who has the best voice. It’s not who can hold the note the longest after all others have run out of breath. It’s not who has been singing the longest.

The quality that makes a group of people become a choir is harmony— many different voices blending together to accomplish one goal.

Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.” Romans 12:16.

One translation of this scripture states: Live in harmony with one another.

We have all been given different voices—-different gifts—–different personalities. God doesn’t want us to be the same. He wants us to be of the same mind. “Love the Lord your God with all you heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”

In this mind-set, we find the harmony that will bring peace to relationships and beauty to the world around us.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
