Good morning from The Garden!

Have a wonderful time during these Christmas holidays!  You will find the following advice in Volume I of Di’s Devotions from The Garden. I just thought it was worth repeating.  Relax and enjoy the holidays.

Don’t stress over the shopping.
Enjoy the crowds and say “Merry Christmas” to every sales person.
Don’t fight over the fudge!

Don’t worry about the wrapping.  It will just get torn off.
Don’t make big problems out of little goofs!
Enjoy your family!

Enjoy your parties and don’t stress over the conflicts.
Leave Santa some cookies!
Just burn the gift boxes—-you probably won’t be able to find them next year anyway.

Don’t worry about the mess—this too shall pass!
Thank each one for the gift; remember it’s the thought that counts, not the size.
Sing every chance you get or just make a joyful noise!

Treasure the moment; make memories and ponder them in your heart.

On that first Christmas night Mary took a deep breath and thought about all that had happened and all that was to come—–

Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.” Luke 2:19.

If it was good enough for that first Christmas, it is definitely good enough for us all today.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
