Many times my children accused me of having “eyes in the back of my head.”
I know this was because, no matter what, I was always watching—watching when they did good(oh! so proud!) and watching when they did “not-so-good!”
Sometimes we may wonder if God is watching today. At times it seems that God is letting evil run rampant in the world and we wonder if He even notices it.
“The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and on the good.” Proverbs 15:3.
God sees everything clearly—-both the evil actions and the evil intentions lying underneath the actions. He sees good and the godly intentions behind the good.
God is not an indifferent observer. He is active in our world today and He cares for His people.
When we are faithful, He notices!
When we are indifferent, He notices!
When we are rebellious, He notices!
One day God’s plan will be revealed to us. He will wipe out evil and reward those who do His will.
May we be a faithful people until His time.
