We are to love others because God first loved us:
“See how very much our heavenly Father loves us, for he allows us to be called his children, and we really are…..” 1 John 3:1.
The scripture continues to state: “…..Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous just as He is righteous.” 1 John 3:7.
“Do not be misled; bad company corrupts good character.” 1 Corinthians 3:11.
Loving others is not the same as loving all things of this world. You can love the person and be against the sin in a person’s life.
In loving others, you do not have to agree to all things.
Acceptance into God’s family is a cornerstone for all other relationships. Once you know that you are loved unconditionally, then it is easier for you to love in the same way.
Faith in Jesus is the one condition that brings us into the family of God. “For now we are all children of God through faith in Jesus Christ.” Galatians 3: 26.
You are His child now, not in some distant future. Live His love now–in the present
Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
