Good morning from The Garden!

We may not understand why troubles come. We never want to see ourselves or others suffer. But we do know that as long as we are a part of this imperfect world, we will experience pain, suffering, and loss.

Our troubles should not in any way diminish our faith or disillusion us. Problems and suffering can have benefits far beyond our own limitations.

Our pain reminds us of Christ’s suffering for us.

Our troubles keep us from arrogant pride, help us look beyond this brief life, prove our faith to others, and give a Loving God opportunity to demonstrate His power.

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:17-18.

This life is not all there is—-there is life and victory beyond life! Knowing that we will live forever with God in a place free of suffering can help us live above the pain that we face today.

In our weakness the resurrection power of Christ strengthens us moment by moment–day by day!

But Jesus said to me. ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My Power is made perfect in weakness.’ ”  2 Corinthians 12:8

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
