Good morning from The Garden!

It is so easy to blame others or to make excuses for the wrong things that we do. In Genesis 3:12 Adam was the first to blame God for his own mistake. It is always easier for us to shift blame to someone else than to accept responsibility for our own actions. The following scripture shows the progression of sin.

When tempted, no one should say, ‘God is tempting me.’ For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.  Do not be deceived, my dear brothers.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:13-18.

God is the Father of all good. He is unchanging. He is steadfast and true. When we are tempted, we should face the temptation, and instead of thinking God is to blame, face Satan and overcome the temptation before it becomes the sin.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
