“Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6.
In this verse we find the negative and the positive. Do not worry. Well, you say, that is easy to say, but not easy to put into practice. The verse doesn’t stop there. It continues to include what we should do instead.
Give the problem to the Lord. With an attitude of Thanksgiving turn your worries into prayers.
We teach our children the dangers of fire and tell them to stop, drop, and roll when their bodies come in contact with fire.
This scripture tells us that when we start to worry, we should STOP, DROP, AND PRAY.
And then what——? “And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7.
Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
