Here is the plight of the indefinite—–“SOMETHING needs to be done. ANYONE can do it. EVERYONE wants it done. SOMEONE worries about getting it done. But NO ONE does it!
For the Christian living in God’s love, not doing something can be the sin.
“Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins.” James 4:17.
In a football game the player sitting on the bench has to be ready to play when the coach calls his name. He practices as hard as the first string; he studies the plays; and he keeps himself in shape for the big game. Why? Because he never knows when it will be his turn to make a difference.
In our Christian life, we should keep our faith strong and be willing to serve or witness to others when God gives the opportunity.
Always be saying: “Put me in coach; I’m ready to play...”
When there is a need, always do something.
Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
