Good morning in The Garden!

I love this little scene from the life of a child! I just wanted to share it once again!

The children had just finished building their cardboard clubhouse. Since all clubs have to have rules, they wrote some down.
1. Nobody acts big.
2. Nobody acts little.
3. Everybody acts medium.

When you think about it, this is great theology.

God came up with the same rules:

Nobody acts big—-
Let each of you regard one another as more important than himself.” Philippians 2:3.

Nobody acts small—-
So God created man in His own image.” Genesis 1:27.
Love your neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27.

Everybody acts medium—
Humility and reverence for the Lord will make you both wise and honored.” Proverbs 15:33.

True humility helps keep you medium. This should not make you appear weak or worthless. It merely involves taking notice of the accomplishments of others, recognizing their abilities and —saying so.

As the kids from the clubhouse would say before you enter: “Got the rules memorized?”

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
