Good morning from The Garden!

It does not matter which GPS system you use, you probably don’t leave home without some device telling you where to go.

If you are like me, you often put the address in the device and then when you disagree with the directiions, you try to go your own way.  I will simply think, “This doesn’t look right or I know this can’t be the right way!”  Soooo I wander around trying to find my way.  Is anyone else like me?

We once visited Gatlinburg, TN to see our grandson play in an All-American football game.  We arrived in town later than we expected and had to travel the mountainous roads to our cabin in the dark–and of course, it was raining and I was driving.  This was not a good situation.  Plus, my husband was trying to navigate.  After missing the first road and feeling extremely nervous,I put the navigation system on voice and followed her commands without second guessing her directions.  It seemed that we were going in circles, but suddenly, there was our cabin with our dear friend standing in the driveway, waving at us.  We had reached our destination.

We can’t give God directions. We can’t trace out the path that we want to go and expect to find our way.  We have to follow the path that He lays before us and trust Him to get us home..

“Oh the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments, and HIS PATHS BEYOND TRACING OUT!….”Romans 11:33

What we cannot understand, we leave at His feet and follow His direction.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
