Good morning from The Garden!

We are still fighting the pandemic of Covid 19 and we hope to see it come to an end soon.  In my family and community we have seen life taken for many—much too early—or so we think.

We each have a time to spend here.  We cannot know how long it will be.  But our destination is eternity with Our Father in Heaven.  “What is life?  You are a mist that appears for a while and then vanishes…..”  James 4:14

This scripture from Ecclesiastes comes to mind this morning.

It is a wonderful thing to be alive! If a person lives to be very old, let him rejoice in every day of life, but let him also remember that eternity is far longer, and that everything down here is futile in comparison. Young man, it‘s wonderful to be young! Enjoy every minute of it! Do all you want to; take in everything, but realize that you must account to God for everything you do.” Ecclesiastes 11: 7-9 (Living Bible)

Many choices are irreversible–they will stay with you for a lifetime.. What you do when you are young does matter. Enjoy life now, but don’t do anything physically, morally, or spiritually that will prevent you from enjoying life when you are old.

Our daily prayer: “Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, Oh Lord, my strength and my redeemer.” Psalms 19:14.

When these two aspects of your life are acceptable to God, then your actions will follow.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
