Good morning from The Garden!

We drive up to the restaurant and after several trips around the parking lot, we finally find a space to park. The designated person gets out of the car and walks to the door. “How long a wait is there?” he asks the young lady.

“About 25 minutes,” the bored greeter informs.

The designated person comes back to the group and tells the news.

“Oh that’s not bad; let’s go in,” exclaim all in the car.

Same group at drive in window: “I would like an order of crispy chicken mild please!”

We drive around to the pick-up window and the nervous young attendant announces, “That will be two minutes on the mild.” Our driver, speaking for the entire car says, “Oh well, just give me hot and spicy.”

When it is worth the wait, we never mind waiting!

“Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You I WAIT all the day.” Psalm 25:5. (NAS)

Waiting is never easy. The good news is when we wait on the Lord it will always be worth the wait. We can rest in the knowledge that He is always there; He never forgets; He is never late; and His plans for us will surpass our dreams for ourselves.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
