Good morning from The Garden!

We face an enemy today—an enemy that would like to destroy the church, God’s people—an enemy that is slow and deliberate. The enemy is division—an attempt to confuse the minds of people in order to divide them.

But God tells us that no enemy is more powerful than He. When God’s people entered the Holy Land, they faced powerful armies. We read this in Joshua 11: “They came with all their soldiers—an army with as many as there are grains of sand on the seashore…All these kings joined forces and came together and set up camp…to fight Israel.”

But God stepped in and said: “Be not afraid because of them…” Joshua 11:6.

When God is present in our lives in a very real way, no enemy will be able to destroy us.

We must be unified in spirit and in purpose. “…then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.” Philippians 2:2.

We are one. We care for the feelings, the problems, the victories of one another as if they are our own. When we embrace one another, then God can keep us together and strengthen us with His power and bring us under the shelter of His wings.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
