“Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.”
Revelation 1:3.
When John writes in the prophecy of Revelation “the time is near,” he is referring to the Second Coming of Christ. He is urging readers to be ready for the Kingdom of God.
The events will come quickly and there will be no second chance to change sides.
The drama of all future events predicted here is spectacular, but there is nothing to fear when you are on the winning side.
John encourages you to read this prophecy, and apply it to your lives (take to heart), and be assured that God wins.
As you read and study Revelations, you will get to know God better so that you can trust Him completely.
When you think of future events, walk with confidence because Christ, the victor, walks with you.
