Good morning from The Garden!

And the scripture was fulfilled that says, ‘Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness, and he was called God’s friend.’ You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone.” James 2:23,24.

This scripture comes in three parts:

Abraham believed God.                                                                                                    God gave him credit for his belief.                                                                                      His actions, not his belief, showed his faith.

Abraham’s friendship with God was determined by his actions, not by his intentions.

Faith brings us salvation, but active commitment demonstrates that our faith is genuine and that our friendship with God is true.

Have a blessed day!
