Good morning from The Garden!

“Moreover, when God gives any man wealth and possessions, and enables him to enjoy them, to accept his lot and be happy in his work—-this is a gift of God. He seldom reflects on the days of his life, because God keeps him occupied with gladness of heart.” Ecclesiastes 5:19,20.

When I read this scripture, I think of my Aunt Louise and Uncle Clayton.  Whether Aunt Louise was helping serve food to a bereaved family or Uncle Clayton was cooking a feast for 200 people, or just laughing about the day, they were happy.  They could always make us smile.  We will have good memories in our hearts for many years to come because of the life of these two special people.

God wants us to view what we have (whether much or little) with the right perspective.

Our possessions are a gift form God. Although they are not to be our source of joy, they are a reason to rejoice because every good thing comes from God.

When we focus more on the Giver than the gift, we will find lifetime satisfaction and gladness of heart. And we will bless others.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
