Yet Jesus told His disciples that He would not leave them comfortless. He comforted them when they were at their lowest point. He promised the Holy Spirit would come unto them and He said:
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27.
During the days ahead we can claim this same promise. Claim His peace and the turmoil around you will be calmed.
A troubled heart cannot consume you when you are filled with the inner peace that only Christ can give.
