Good morning from The Garden!

For many years I cooked lunch for my farmers.  I was never very creative with the meal, but no one ever complained.  I don’t do this very often any more but I miss it.

I enjoyed the long table with all my farmers sitting around, talking about the morning or just telling funny stories.  The one thing I miss the most is the laughter.  I always had a good laugh as I listened to each one and their interactions with one another.  They could have been having a bad day—the tractor was stuck; a piece of equipment was broken down, or maybe the labor didn’t show up that morning.  Anything could be going wrong, but there was always laughter around the table.

Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. That it was said among the nations, ‘the Lord has done great things for them.‘” Psalms 126:2.

Life isn’t all fun and games, but joy and laughter can go a long way toward improving your outlook and maintaining an overall sense of well-being.

A heavy and burdened spirit saps your energy, but a joyous spirit enables you to face life with a bounce in your step, a song in your heart, a smile on your face, and laughter in your mouth.

So maybe you will find time to sit around the table and laugh……….

The joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
