Good morning from The Garden!

I have not been able to send the Prayer Garden for the past few days due to this winter storm that has taken over our world for a short while. I have several prayer requests that needed to be added so you can pray for families.

I know that many are without power and water and are trying to hold on until things  change.  I pray today for all the workers in our community who are risking their lives and leaving the comfort of their homes to help all of us get back to normal.  I pray for their safety.  I appreciate the deputies and volunteers from the sheriff’s department who have worked tirelessly to help with stranded motorists, wrecks, house fires, and transportation to get many individuals and dedicated medical staff back and forth to their work places.

There are too many to mention separately, but I just want to say thank you for all you have done in this Louisiana winter storm.  We think we are prepared, but we are not accustomed to this kind of winter weather.

As the temperature warms up and the sun brightens the sky, we know that a new day dawns and life begins anew.

We thank you, Lord, for your forever love and comfort and peace through every day.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
