Good morning from The Garden!

I love the idea of “Pay It Forward.” This action or campaign means simply doing something for someone, (many times a complete stranger) —just because—

“It is possible to give away and become richer…hold on too tightly and lose everything—” Proverbs 11:24-25. Living Bible

A paradox is something that seems contradictory and yet is truth.

These two verses present a paradox: that you become richer by giving away.

The world says to hold on to your possessions, to take care of #1, to acquire as much as possible, but God blesses those who give freely of their time, possessions, and energy.

When you give, God supplies you with more so you can give even more. Giving helps you to keep the right perspective on your possessions. The more you give, the less dependent you are on material things, and the more you can see all things as gifts from God to be used to help others.

So when you can— remember to “Pay It Forward.”

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
