Good morning from The Garden!

I watched the squirrels playing in my yard early one morning. They would run through the yard and up a tree, cross over from branch to branch, and then back down another tree.

This went on for quite a while and then surprisingly, one of the little sprinters fell without warning from the top of one of the trees. He landed on the ground below. I observed his next move. He sat up, tiny hands in the air, and paused for just a second. He then raced up the tree again to begin life’s ritual all over.

He looked as if he said a prayer——then he raced up the tree, and started over.

“So you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!” 1 Corinthians 10:12

Even when life is going on as usual, we can often fall unexpectedly. When this happens, we pause, pray to ask God for guidance or forgiveness or both, and then face our challenge, knowing that with God’s help we can conquer anything.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
