Good morning from The Garden!

Did you know that it is against human nature to be content? This thought made one word in the following scripture stand out for me this morning as the rains continue to pour down on our fields and our crops ready for harvest.  It is so easy to ask why God would bring us to a point in our lives and then seem to back us away.  But a life committed to God must understand that He brings us to it and He will walk us through it.  We learn this daily with our walk with the One and Only One that matters.

“…for I have LEARNED to be content whatever the circumstances….I have LEARNED the secret of being content in any and every situation…I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:11-13.

Obviously being content was not easy for the Apostle Paul. He worked at it. He practiced it! He learned it.

With a Loving Savior who gives you strength, you find the joy that He desires you to have–the contentment of being a child of God; the contentment of being able to help others; the contentment of the blessing of life; the contentment of waking up each morning; the contentment of ………….!

Notice that Paul states: “I have learned.!” Happiness is a personal thing; contentment is a personal challenge. You cannot depend on others to make you content. You can find joy when you practice daily embracing the blessings that are all around you.

You will master whatever you practice the most.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
