Good morning from The Garden!

My family and friends enjoy listening to K-LOVE radio.  The music and the message of K-LOVE and other Christian radio stations touch the lives of many across our nation.

We take this for granted, but only a few years ago I remember reading an article that shocked me at the time so I saved some of it.  The headline stated:  “AFR (America Family Radio) reaches Washington, D.C.”

The article described the journey that had been traveled trying to find a radio station that could make this endeavor a reality. Then concluded with “We are grateful to all who made this possible. We will finally be able to reach out to those who influence the future of our nation the most.”

Have we come so far as a nation that it becomes a battle just to have Christian radio in our nation’s capital?

I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’ ” Isaiah 65:1.

So many people do not know that they need God. They do not know that He can make a difference in their lives. It is up to us as Christians to continue to tell the Good News through our words, our deeds, and our support of Christian work, whether it is Family Radio, K-LOVE, or any other avenue that spreads God’s Word.

God still says, “Here Am I.” — God is still here; God is still in control; and God is still the same “yesterday, today, and forever.” He desires that all should know Him through Christ as Savior and Lord.  May we all desire the same.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
