Good morning from The Garden!

Two very important scriptures come to my mind this morning. Both are the words of Christ, and both, in His words, are all we need!

You shall LOVE the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is like unto it: LOVE your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:30-31.

So in everything, DO to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Laws and Prophets.” Matthew 7:12.

The second of these verses has been called the Golden Rule because it contains such valuable advice. It also sums up loving God and your neighbor as yourself!!!!

Loving requires action; doing requires action. It is not hard just to refrain from harming others; it is much more difficult to do something good for them to show you love them—-(as we want them to do for us.)
God expects our love and our devotion. He expects us to actively show Him our love. He also demands this in our relationships with others.

Love God; love others; Do for God and Do for others.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
