“You have made known to me the path; you will fill me with joy in your presence; at Thy right hand are eternal pleasures.” Psalm 16:11
This Old Testament Psalm actually presents God’s plan to all mankind. So many times life gets in the way. You make mistakes; you follow the wrong path; you listen to the wrong voice; but God will bring you back. He just asks you to follow His Way.
God will show you the path–(one path–Jesus Christ-Matthew 7:14).
In His presence you feel lasting joy—(with Christ in your heart, He walks with you all the way). Joshua 1:5
Finally you experience eternity at the right hand of God— (your final destination is heaven). Psalm 23:6.
From days of old, God has always had a plan. Jesus fulfilled this plan———-
God has been with you in this life, and your reward will be the pleasure of being with God for all eternity.
The joy is in the journey; the reward is in the destination.
