Nothing is as contagious as an example!
Parents are examples to their children; teachers are examples to their students; teenagers are examples to those younger; people of faith are examples to those who have little faith; a veteran employee is an example to the new intern—I could go on and on, but you get what I am saying.
“Follow my example as I follow the example of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 11:1
The Apostle Paul could say these words because he was confident that he walked in the footsteps of the Risen Christ. He knew he wasn’t perfect, but he also knew that Christ walked before him and set the example. As he followed Christ, he knew others could follow him toward Christ.
