What a difference a year makes! Last year on this date, family and friends gathered together for my husband’s 80th birthday. He always said that the fish fry wasn’t his birthday party but he never minded the birthday cake or the children singing “Happy Birthday.” This year he is celebrating in his heavenly home surrounded by sooooo many others.
This memory just helps me realize that life and death go hand in hand. Each day is a blessing—-a time to embrace, live, and love.
“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is GOD’S WILL for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
God bless all of you. May you see God’s blessings in the little things every day and not just look for the mighty miracles. “….Seek and you will find….”
