Good morning from The Garden!

God knows what He is doing!  Trust Him!

I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt! And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you.” Genesis 45:4-5.

Although Joseph’s brothers meant to cause him harm “to get rid of him,” God used their evil actions for His good.

Joseph made the best of his situation and remained faithful to the God of his fathers. He worked hard, served his master with dedication, and fled from temptation.

He waited patiently to know God’s ultimate plan.

When Joseph’s brothers come to Egypt for aid and realize he is alive and is in charge, they fear for their lives.

Joseph says to his brothers, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” Genesis 50:20.

As Joseph learned, God can overrule evil to bring about His intended results.

Can you trust God enough to wait patiently for Him to bring good out of bad situations?
God is in control far beyond the present situation. Trust Him.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
