What is faith???
“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see....” Hebrews 1:1.
Picture this:
When you get on an airplane, you expect it to get you to where you are going. You have heard of an airplane crash or of something going wrong that was not planned, but that is not what you dwell on. You simply trust that everything will be all right, and you will be safe. You take that step onto the plane with confidence and trust, and then rest and let the pilot take over.
Our trust in Christ is so much more certain than trusting in the pilot of an airplane, yet often we want more proof of His existence to build our confidence.
Faith in Christ is exactly what the scripture states: BEING SURE. You walk through life with two choices: You believe His Word or you doubt His Word. The choice is yours today. Which will it be?
