Good morning from The Garden!

Good morning from The Garden!

“Once in a blue moon” is an expression I have heard my mom and many others quote through the years.  I always wondered if the moon could actually ever turned blue.  Now I know that it means the very rare occasion when we have two full moons in one month.  Which actually makes no sense, but I digress.

This morning I walked outside just at daybreak to see a moon (also a super moon) as big as the sun still high in the sky.  I also looked toward the east and viewed the beautiful pink lining laced across the horizon as the sun prepared for its entrance to the day..  Yes, I took a picture, but since I can’t show it to you, I posted on face book,  something I rarely do.

The on/y thought I had in this moment was to share the beauty.  I was reminded of God’s creation.:

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth………..And God said ‘Let there be lights’ in the expanse of the sky to separate the day and the night and let them serve as signs and mark seasons and days and years…..And it was so.  God made two great lights–the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night……”  Genesis 1:1; 16-18.

God is Supreme; God is omnipotent; God was in the beginning before there was anything; God is in control; and God is worthy to be praised.  I am amazed.

Have a blessed day!
In Christian love,
Diane
